The Clockwork Girl Animated Teaser Debuts

 

Arcana Studios Inc., an award winning comic book publisher and transmedia producer, is proud to announce the animated teaser for The Clockwork Girl debuts on www.theclockworkgirl.com

The animated teaser is directed by Frogchildren's Kevin Hanna, produced by Sean O'Reilly and is based on the The Clockwork Girl book which has won the Moonbeam Award as well as Graphic Novel of the Year at Book Expo America by Foreword Magazine.  Last year it was announced that Telefilm funded the development of the screenplay by Jennica Harper allowing The Clockwork Girl to move into production.

 

The Clockwork Girl:  A nameless robot girl has recently been given the gift of life from her creator, while exploring the wonders of an ordinary world she meets an amazing mutant boy and they share a friendship that must overcome their warring families.

 

Arcana' s O'Reilly said, “It's incredible to see these characters take their first steps.  Kevin truly is a visionary and I am thrilled to be working with him on this project.".  The Clockwork Girl is currently being developed into a feature length film by Arcana Studios.
